Background
Dr. Dyak, originally a native of South Florida, graduated from high school in Beijing, China, and then attended Miami of Ohio for her undergraduate education. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.
After completion of the post-doctorate residency at Woolfson, she joined a private practice in Atlanta, GA, where she practiced full-scope optometry before her return to Woolfson to provide medically and surgically oriented eye care as a consultative optometrist. She currently provides services in the Sandy Springs, Lawrenceville, Cumming and Stockbridge locations, as well as Reagin Eyes.
In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Dyak is paying it forward by assisting in the training of optometry interns and residents at Woolfson Eye Institute. Asked what she thinks is the most important skill to instill in a young doctor, she explains, 'You only have one chance to make a great first impression. You want patients to not only feel comfortable, but also to experience excellence in patient care every time they enter the exam room.”
Dr. Dyak is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Georgia Optometric Association, and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her family and golden retriever, Valentine, and volunteering for Adopt a Golden Atlanta.
